DoorDash was having problems Tuesday morning, and the spike quickly drove nearly 30,000 reports of issues as people checked whether is spotify down and whether the app would open. The biggest problems were getting into the app and logging in, which left affected users unable to reach the service as usual.
Downdetector’s Tuesday spike
Problems popped up after 9 a.m. Tuesday. About 75 percent of the reports were from users having trouble getting on the app. Another 23 percent were from people who could not log in to their accounts.
Login failures lead the reports
That split points to a service problem centered on access rather than a narrower feature glitch. If the app will not load or an account will not authenticate, the first thing users lose is the ability to place, track, or manage an order inside the app.
No return time given
There was no timetable for the service to return on Tuesday morning, so users dealing with the outage had no public marker for when the app might be usable again. For now, the only hard signal is the size of the disruption and the fact that most reports were tied to app access and account login rather than something deeper in the order flow.
