His current arrangement approaches $30 million per year, and he still has two years remaining on a deal that pays him over $17 million per year for his daily show.
Representatives Push Higher
Three years ago, McAfee negotiated his original deal himself. He is now represented by TKO/WME’s Ari Emanuel and Mark Shapiro, whose initial proposal to was for $100 million per year.
That opening number never became the final ask in the public discussion, but it sets the gap between the sides. The current range, described as “between $60 million to $65 million per year,” still leaves McAfee in the top tier of sports-media compensation if the sides land there.
