brooklyn beckham and Nicola Peltz have escalated the family dispute again, saying Harper Beckham’s visit to their Los Angeles home was “choreographed for the cameras.” Their representative said photographers were already in place as the letter was handed over, turning a private knock at the door into another public Beckham flashpoint.
Harper, 14, arrived at the Beverly Hills property at around 2 p.m. local time and left a letter before departing. She was still wearing the pink midi dress and cardigan she had worn earlier in the day to support her father at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, where David Beckham was joined by Victoria Beckham, Romeo Beckham and Cruz Beckham.
New York and Beverly Hills
Brooklyn and Peltz were in New York when Harper visited the Los Angeles house. Brooklyn reshared an Instagram story featuring his friend Hunter Moreno and also posted from the New York City Wine & Food Festival, putting him in a different city while the rest of the family gathered on the West Coast for David Beckham’s star ceremony.
Their representative told HELLO! that photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered, adding: “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.” The line is blunt, but it also keeps the feud where it has been for months: in public, with no sign of a private reset.
David Beckham’s four children
David Beckham used his Walk of Fame speech to thank all four of his children, even though Brooklyn was absent from the ceremony. He said, “Most of all, I want to thank my incredible family. My parents and my sisters, who always supported my dreams. Victoria, my amazing wife for almost 30 years. Without whom, none of this would be possible or as enjoyable. And my beautiful children, who are the reason that I get out of the bed in the morning.”
He added, “Kids - I'm going to get emotional now - I hope you bring my grandchildren here one day and tell them about a boy who dreamed big. To make you all proud is my greatest achievement. I'm so grateful for you all, thank you, and thank you so much for this honour, L.A., it means so much.” The speech sounded like an attempt at family unity; Brooklyn’s separate statement landing in January, when he said, “I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” shows the split still has real public weight.
January’s line still lingers
Brooklyn’s earlier claim that his family had tried to interfere repeatedly in his relationship with Nicola Peltz, along with his accusation that they tried to influence public narratives around the pair, now sits over this latest Los Angeles appearance. The result is a family story that keeps spilling into photo ops, speeches and doorsteps. For anyone reading the Beckhams as a unit, this latest statement says the same thing the January one did: the reconciliation window is still shut.
