Chivas will face Cruz Azul in the liga mx semi finals after eliminating Tigres and moving into the Clausura 2026 Semifinals. The series sends one club into the final two of the Liga MX title race, with the second leg already open for ticket planning.

Cruz Azul will host the first leg of the semifinal series midweek, with the venue still pending between Estadio Azteca and Estadio Cuauhtémoc. The second leg will be played on the weekend at Estadio Jalisco, giving Chivas the home return in the tie.
The dates and kickoff times will be confirmed next Monday, but the ticket window for Chivas supporters is already set. Chivabono presale for the second leg runs from Sunday, May 10 at 9:30 PM to Tuesday, May 12 at 5:00 PM through the Boletomóvil website and app, before general sale begins Tuesday, May 12 at 6:30 PM on the same platforms.
La Máquina And Chivas
This will be the fifth time Chivas meet La Máquina in Liguilla of short tournaments. The clubs have already crossed paths three times in quarterfinals, in AP25, AP06 and INV98, and once in the reclassification stage in CL03.
For box holders at Estadio AKRON and Chivabono holders, further information and instructions are expected by email. That leaves the bracket set, the home-and-away order in place, and the remaining details waiting on next Monday’s schedule release.
