Arsenal’s manager now has a clear task in front of him: prepare for the team that won the Champions League last season and has already beaten Arsenal in the last-four before. PSG have repeated the same early-away-from-home approach that worked against Arsenal a year ago, and they have now taken it into another knockout win.
Bayern had scored at least three goals in each of their previous six games before this semi-final, which makes PSG’s defensive and attacking control more striking. On May 30, Arsenal will face a side that arrives with that level of form and a recent European title behind it.
