América and Rayadas reached the la liga mx Femenil Clausura 2026 Final after different semifinal routes, with Monterrey overturning a two-goal aggregate deficit to beat Pachuca 4-3. América finished the job against Toluca after entering the second leg with a wide advantage, and the title series now matches the first- and second-place teams from the regular season.

That setup came through with two separate comebacks. América advanced after Gabriela García opened the scoring, Toluca answered with a hat-trick from Faustine Valerie, and Irene Guerrero, Aylin Aviléz and Alexa Soto finished the response. Rayadas needed more late pressure at the Gigante de Acero, where Natalia Mauleón scored at minute 2 for Pachuca and Osinachi Ohale put through her own net at minute 37 before Monterrey turned the tie around.

Ángel Villacampa’s seventh Final

For América, the win sent Ángel Villacampa to his seventh Final in charge of the club. He had already adjusted his lineup and managed workloads before bringing starters back into the match, and the team still had to absorb Toluca’s three-goal burst from Valerie before Guerrero’s penalty and Aviléz’s equalizer pulled the semifinal back.

Alexa Soto then scored in stoppage time to complete the comeback and close out Toluca. América reached the final without needing to protect that wide first-leg edge all the way through the second leg, but the match still forced them to finish under pressure after Toluca kept attacking.

Monterrey at the Gigante de Acero

Rayadas’ route was tighter. After the early goal from Mauleón and the own goal by Ohale, Valerie Vargas scored in the second half, Christina Burkenroad tied the global score, and Lucía García struck at minute 62 to seal the series. The 4-3 aggregate win sent Monterrey back to a Final after two years.

Burkenroad also reached her ninth goal of the tournament and moved to 117 goals with Monterrey. Those numbers sit inside a semifinal that swung back and forth before Rayadas finished the stronger side, while the final itself will now bring together the two strongest regular-season teams. The Liga MX Femenil said it will announce the official dates and times later.
