Jordan Carrillo raised his market value to 3 million euros after starring in Pumas’ 3-3 draw with América. The 24-year-old assisted one goal and scored another in the Clásico Capitalino, a night that pushed his profile higher as Pumas weigh a purchase option in his loan deal.
Jordan Carrillo at América
Carrillo assisted Juninho on the first goal and later scored Pumas’ third, making it 3-1 before América fought back to level the quarterfinal. He played 89 minutes and finished as SofaScore’s top performer with an 8.1 rating.
The performance matched the game’s sharpest swings. Pumas had a two-goal cushion after Carrillo’s finish, but the draw left the scoreline tied 3-3 by the end of the Clásico Capitalino.
Pumas and Santos Laguna
Five months after arriving as a reinforcement for Clausura 2026, his market value had climbed from around 1 million euros to 3 million euros, a 200 percent rise. Transfermarkt listed him at that higher figure after a run that has included his best Pumas rating of 9.7 against Santos in Jornada 4, when he scored and assisted twice in a 4-0 win.
The contrast with his time at Santos Laguna is part of the story. He did not stand out there, and at Pumas he has moved into a starting role under Efraín Juárez.
December 31 and Pumas
Carrillo is still on loan, with an undisclosed purchase option in the contract. If Pumas do not use it, he must return to Santos Laguna after December 31.
For Pumas, the next decision is financial as much as sporting: Carrillo’s value has climbed fast, and the club now has to decide whether the player who shaped a 3-3 draw against América is worth keeping permanently.
