the sun uk reports British Transport Police have launched a search after a man was reported to have performed an indecent act on a train between London Victoria and Horsham on Wednesday. Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to, and are asking anyone who recognises him to contact them directly.

A woman travelling with her young daughter said she went to use the toilet when she saw a man who was sat down and looked as if he were asleep. A British Transport Police spokesperson said the man had his hand down his trousers and appeared to be performing an indecent act.
The train route places the incident on a service used by passengers moving between London Victoria and Horsham, with the woman and her young daughter on board when she made the sighting. British Transport Police released the image after the incident and said the man pictured may be able to assist with their enquiries.
British Transport Police appeal
British Transport Police asked the public to help identify the man. Anyone who recognises him has been asked to text BTP on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 using the reference 758 of 1 April.
Police also said information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. The appeal leaves the image as the main lead for investigators, with the public now carrying the practical next step.
