Zach Bryan Edinburgh arrives at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on Sunday, when the stadium opens its concert season with a crowd of over 60,000 music fans. The show is part of his global With Heaven on Tour, and it begins a summer run that will keep the venue busy well beyond football and rugby.

Mark Laidlaw, Scottish Rugby's Director of Stadium Development & Operations, said: "There is a real sense of excitement as we kick off a busy concert season with Zach Bryan this weekend, followed by Luke Combs in July and Bon Jovi in August. We would like to thank all of our partners, including the City of Edinburgh Council, security providers, emergency services and transport providers for the excellent collaboration and planning that goes into delivering events of this scale."

60,000 fans in Edinburgh

Over 60,000 music fans are expected at the stadium, which puts transport and crowd flow at the center of the event plan. Ticketholders are being urged to plan their journey in advance, allow plenty of time to travel to the stadium, and use public transport or Park & Ride facilities wherever possible.

Additional public transport services will be in place for the concert, giving attendees more than one route into the city and toward the ground. For a one-night stadium show of this size, that is the practical detail that shapes the evening: getting people there, and then getting them home without turning the surrounding area into a bottleneck.

Saturday's URC semi-final finished with the rugby posts taken down, clearing the way for the concert turnaround before Bryan takes the stage on Sunday. That quick reset tells the story of Murrayfield's summer: it is no longer a venue that simply pauses between sports dates.

Scottish Rugby said the concert season will continue with Luke Combs in July and Bon Jovi in August, while the stadium also has the Fiji v Scotland match in July and the Newcastle United v Everton football match in August. Margaret Graham, City of Edinburgh Council’s Culture and Communities Convener, said: "We’re delighted to welcome Zach Bryan to our city for what promises to be a fantastic night. These concerts bring significant benefits to our local economy and mark the start of another exciting summer in the city, with our famous festivals just around the corner."

"We’ll continue to work closely with event organisers, emergency services and partners to ensure major events like this are delivered safely and effectively so that residents, visitors and fans alike can have an enjoyable night," Graham said. For anyone heading to Murrayfield on Sunday, the message is simple: travel early, use the extra transport if you can, and expect the stadium’s first concert of the season to set the pace for the rest of summer.
