The Empire State Building has brought back its exclusive fireworks nyc Observation Deck Experience for the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks display, with tickets priced at $580 per person. The package is limited in capacity and requires reservations.
Guests start at 7:30pm on the 80th Floor with live music, drinks and BBQ before heading to the open-air 86th Floor Observation Deck as twilight fades. The building says its 86th Floor is the city’s only 360-degree outdoor viewing platform.
Empire State Building 86th Floor
The evening includes a premium open bar with unlimited beer and wine, along with brisket sliders, buttermilk fried Cajun chicken, a mini Coney Island hot dog station and fresh salads. Desserts include Grandma’s banana pudding, strawberry shortcake trifles, a cotton candy machine and a sno-cone station.
Fireworks will launch from both the East River and the Hudson River, giving guests a direct view from the 86th Floor before the show starts. The event ties the building’s viewing package to one of New York’s most watched holiday displays.
Empire State Building 102nd Floor
Exclusive upgrades include a Priority Pass or access to the ultra-premium 102nd Floor Observation Deck. That level has climate-controlled, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and guests there will get an intimate champagne toast as the show starts.
The return of the experience follows the Empire State Building’s recent recognition as the number one top attraction in the U.S. in Tripadvisor’s 2026 Travelers’ Choice Awards. For anyone trying to secure one of the limited seats, the practical step is straightforward: reservations are required, and the price is set at $580 per person.
