Australian snowboarder Valentino Guseli has openly discussed his fear of heights as he prepares for the 2026 Winter Olympics Big Air final. During a recent interview, he candidly described the anxiety he feels when approaching the jump.

While riding a lift to the jump site, Guseli expressed his concerns. “It’s super dodge,” he remarked, highlighting the challenges he encounters. The most daunting moment comes when he has to step over a gap at the top of the jump.
Qualifying for the Final
Despite his fear, Guseli secured a spot in the final. He earned the 12th and final position after delivering an impressive performance during the qualifying rounds. His final score was 91.50, tying for the second-best score of the evening.
