November marks an exciting month for Pokémon GO players as Pikipek takes center stage during Community Day. This event is scheduled for Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. During this three-hour window, Pikipek, the Woodpecker Pokémon, will appear more frequently in the wild.
Event Highlights
Trainers have a chance to catch Shiny Pikipek or one featuring a unique Special Background. Evolving Pikipek into Trumbeak during the event or within the following four hours allows players to obtain a Toucannon that knows the Charged Attack Beak Blast.
Bonuses for Trainers
- 3× XP for catching Pokémon
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours
- Lure Modules will last for one hour, effective from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Ability to perform one additional Special Trade (maximum three) from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust (valid from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.)
Field Research and Special Tasks
Players are encouraged to take snapshots during Community Day for a surprise. Field Research tasks focused on catching Pikipek can reward trainers with Great Balls, extra encounters with Pikipek, and more. Some trainers may even discover Pikipek with a special Tales of Transformation-themed background.
