An AMBER Alert for dane richman was issued Saturday just after 11:30 p.m. after officials said Wesley Dane Richman, 10 months old, and Will Thomas Richman, 1, were taken from their Saratoga Springs home. The alert reached mobile devices Sunday morning, hours after it was posted.

The boys were described as just over two feet tall, with blonde or strawberry hair and blue eyes. Utah AMBER Alerts are issued when law enforcement believes a child may have been abducted and is in imminent danger of serious harm or death.

Saratoga Springs home

Officials said the children had been missing since around noon on May 16 and believed they were taken by Dane Stephen Richman, 46. They described him as a white man with brown hair and green eyes, weighing 195 pounds and standing 6 feet 2 inches tall.

The alert also said he had been seriously depressed, selling possessions, facing financial stress, and had abandoned his home. Those details put the search beyond a simple missing-person report and into a race to locate two very young children with a named suspect and a specific vehicle description.

Toyota Camry details

Officials said the suspect was believed to be driving a newer model black Toyota Camry with Utah plate number A561HL. They said the vehicle may have a temporary tag.

That gave the public a concrete set of identifiers to use: the suspect’s name, physical description, and car information. For anyone who sees the vehicle, the relevant step is to contact law enforcement immediately and treat the alert as urgent.

Sunday morning notification

The gap between the Saturday night posting and the Sunday morning mobile alert meant the warning reached phones after the initial issuance. The practical focus now is the same one the alert created from the start: find Wesley Dane Richman and Will Thomas Richman and locate Dane Stephen Richman’s vehicle before the search moves further away from Saratoga Springs.
