Kelly Pannek made mn frost history in the 2025–26 PWHL regular season. The Minnesota Frost center became the first player in league history to reach 30 points in a season, finishing with 16 goals and 17 assists. She also led the league in goals.
Pannek Sets the Pace
Pannek’s 30 points came with seven power play goals, a 27.6% shooting percentage and a 59.3% face-off win rate. Among players who took at least 200 face-offs, she ranked third. That mix of finishing and puck control made her the clear offensive driver for Minnesota’s season.
Her scoring line separated her from the rest of the league. No other player matched the 30-point mark, and her goal total stood at the top of the scoring race while she finished with the league lead in power play goals as well.
Minnesota Frost Support
Taylor Heise gave Minnesota another high-end scoring season, finishing second in points with 13 goals and 17 assists. She added 11 primary assists, and 10 of her goals came at five-on-five. Together, she and Pannek formed the Frost’s top scoring pair across the regular season.
Rebecca Leslie’s numbers added another layer to the awards picture around the league. She set a personal record with 14 goals, tied for second-best in the league, and produced four game-winning goals and three overtime winners. Her 99 shots and 23 points in 2025–26, up from three points in 2024–25, showed the scale of that jump.
League Awards Picture
On the blue line, Megan Keller led all defenders with 22 points for the Boston Fleet. She added 18 primary points, including seven goals, four power play goals, 68 shots on net and three game-winning goals, while also ranking fifth in the league in hits and drawing only four penalties all season.
Ann-Renée Desbiens won the goalie award after posting a league-best.955 save percentage and a 1.11 goals-against average. She finished with 19 wins this season, reached 41 career wins overall and was behind only Aerin Frankel in shutouts with seven. On January 24, she became the first goalie to earn 30 regular-season career wins.
For the Frost, Pannek’s mark is the cleanest headline from the end of the regular season: a league first, a 30-point finish and the scoring standard that defined Minnesota’s attack. Her season gives the Frost a top-end reference point heading into whatever comes next for the roster and the awards conversation.
